Twitter can be a useful tool for journalists during breaking news events, providing a platform to collect information and quickly share it. However, Twitter is also a place where misinformation can thrive.

At a panel at the 2019 Excellence in Journalism Conference, five panellists discussed how to use Twitter in a way to promote ethical journalism standards while also spreading information quickly, as Luisa Pires Luciano reports in this article for IJNet.
